Call of Duty: Warzone next-gen leak points to imminent PS5 and Xbox Series X upgrades - mcphailmilver
Activision says that Call of Tariff: Warzone next-gen leaks are "bogus"
Update: Reports that Call of Duty: Warzone would receive a next-gen update with Season 5 are "counterfeit," according to Activision.
Speaking to ModernWarzone, the Activision representative said that the link thought to be teasing PS5 and Xbox Serial X versions of the game was not official, and that next-gen details shared were not correct.
Despite Activision's statement, dataminers involved in the leak say they still think an update is on the visible horizon. Groundbreaking leaker BreadisModding said that they believe the timing of the leak "is not a coincidence," while celebrated dataminer TheGhostofHope said they were "sticking to [their] guns on this extraordinary," due to the length of clock that the procurator link has been around for.
Original narration: Call of Duty: Warzone next-gen could finally be heading to PS5 and Xbox Series X with the arrival of Warzone Time of year 5.
Over on Chirrup (via DualShockers), dataminer BreadisModding claims to rich person found the web address for the Season 5 patch notes ahead of the update's launching on Grand 12. That address, linked to developer Raven Software, mentions both "Warzone Season 5" and "next-gen set in motion" within the same url, suggesting that the update could be more remarkable than we're expecting.
Right now, the address leads to an error page on Raven's website, and with no discussion from either the developer operating room Activision, it's hard to prove the existence of a new-gen rendering of Warzone either way. BreadisModding's leak was, however, corroborated by another known Call of Duty leaker, TheGhostofHope, who tweeted earlier today to enunciat that "the only conclude we found out nigh the whole next-gen launch update thing with Temper 5 of Warzone was because they put off it in the piece notes link itself."
It looks as though Raven and Activision might have been preparation a surprise reveal, so we may not get confirmation of the expected leak until Season 5 arrives next workweek. It's worth noting that the timing of the new version might work out quite nicely for the Call of duty franchise. Warzone's developers had around nine months to process new versions of the game, and a Call of Tariff 2021 reveal is expected soon thanks to a puzzle out of sight within Season 5 promo images. This could be an opportunity to start updating Warzone with the untested game firm in players' sights.
